Using this route drug concentrations can be precisely calculated, and are delivered immediately into the blood stream for a variety of medical conditions in multiple specialties including cardiology, dermatology, gastroenterology, neurology, ophthalmology, and rheumatology. Infusion Therapy is commonly given in the hospital setting, but can be administered safely and effectively, in an outpatient center.
